The link to this page says it all. FAMILY DOES MATTER. Though we are not nested in one 25 mile radius of each other the Thompson and Roedel Families and associates do matter to us. We think of and pray for all of them often. Lori and I sometimes feel like we are the foreign outpost since our closest (in distance) family member outside of Lori, Aaron, Joseph, Jack, and I is my Mom and Dad. They moved back to Tennessee and are 886 miles away (according to Map Quest).  It is our families that have given us the rich traditions that we have melded together to make our own. Christmas, New Years, Mother's Day, Father's Day and the Fourth of July would not be the same without all of their input while Lori and I were growing up. We now have new traditions that we are passing on to our sons that they will take with them when they venture out into the world as adults.
